Part one includes Dock, Wharf, Riverside and General Labourers Union; Tea Operatives and General Labourers Association; National Union of Vehicle Workers; London Cab Drivers Trade Union; Amalgamated Association of Tramway and Vehicle Workers; Amalgamated Society of Watermen, Lightermen and Bargemen.

In 2007, the Transport and General Workers Union and Amicus merged to form Unite the Union.
